Review by Lucy Symons
"Haydn has a poetic soul. After laughing about bringing an escaped pony back to the farm by riding him bareback through the deserted streets by moonlight, he passionately described trekking in the Black Mountains, observing that it is the most incredible backdrop against which the red sandstone, the blossom on the trees, yellow rape in the fields, green leaves, red ploughed fields and blue skies couldn’t be more beautiful... I smiled, listening to him, and even though Welsh rain lashed the windows, I couldn’t wait to saddle up."
