Why we've chosen Shepherd's Hut

By the edge of a lake under dappled shade, under the hill by the pines, in the bluebell wood or by the ducks flight pond in the cabin wood, all the huts are magical, secluded places with wonderful views. Walk up the steps from your balcony where you can look at the stars by night or drink you morning coffee the next day. Go through the door and enter your cosy world with a comfy bed at the back. There are tables, chairs, wood burning stoves, a Belfast sink in a lovely wooden unit made by a local joiner, and a small cooker with a grill. Sheets and towels are all provided. Each has a small barbeque where you can cook your supper while you watch the kites wheeling overhead, the cows grazing and ocasionally the Canada geese coming home to the two flight ponds. Wallow in your own private hot tub after a long walk over the hills. Drink a glass of wine while cook your supper on the barbecue. Snuggle up in your warm wagon for the night. There are two bikes for you to use. Each hut has its own miniature hut which houses a shower, basin and flushing loo. It's all for you. The outdoor life with comfort.
