<p>We pride ourselves in offering Royal Parade Apartments as an eco-chic apartment hotel. We wanted to create the ultimate in eco-friendly design through restoring the original period architecture, layout and fittings, and complementing it by using recycled, second-hand and antique furniture and furnishings. All the refurbishment was carried out by small independent local Yorkshire companies.</p><p>Stay in the beautifully restored period townhouse in one of the three uniquely themed luxury apartment (each sleeps up to 4), or indeed rent the whole house and make it your own exclusive residence to play host to family gatherings or corporate celebrations.</p><p>Each large period apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, large dining area (seats up to 8 for meetings or private dining), spacious living reception area (with sofa bed) for entertaining up to 25 people, entrance lobby, guest cloakroom, double bedroom, en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe.</p><p>Services include personal checking in & checking out.</p><p>Facilities include free Wi-Fi, TV, and private parking (by arrangement)</p><p><strong>Why is this a greener holiday? </strong></p> <p>To truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: the nearest train station is Harrogate. From there, it’s just a short walk to the apartments (detailed directions below). Onsite they’ve have taken a number of green measures to reduce the environmental impact of their tourism business.</p>

Directions from station:
From Harrogate station use the pedestrian crossing in front of the station. Bear to the left and turn right down James street. At the bottom of James street go past the Cenotaph and use the pedestrian crossing in front of Bettys. Continue down Montpellier parade with the grassy area on the left. Royal Parade is across the roundabout at the bottom of the hill.
