Why is this a greener holiday?
First, to truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: The nearest train station is Gwynedd, a 50 minute drive from the property. Onsite the owners have implemented a number of green initiatives including restoring a disused building for tourism purposes rather than constructing a new one. Renovations employed local craftsman and such work included lime mortars, plasters and washes which makes the building breathable. The water source is a natural spring.
