A beautiful, spacious, ground floor apartment, in a large 17th Century country house overlooking the Honddu River, located near the village of Pandy, to the north of Abergavenny.

The apartment has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The open-plan living area has large sash windows over looking the wooded garden. The modern wooden kitchen is complete with fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, electric oven & hob and microwave. The living area has a modern style electric fire and comfortable sofa’s – one of which is a useful sofabed, TV with DVD and Sky Freeview. The wet room style bathroom has a large shower area, bath, WC and washbasin.There is a comfortable double well appointed bedroom. The patio area to the front of the apartment overlooks the wooded grounds – indeed there are specialist trees and a wide variety of birdlife including the resident peacock.

For those wishing to venture further afield there is easy access to the Offa’s Dyke footpath, whilst the Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains are a short drive away. The nearest market town of Abergavenny is six miles. Pets are welcome on discussion – preferably only one. No Smoking. Variable mobile phone coverage. There is parking for 2 cars.

To truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: the nearest train station is Abergavenny. From there, the accommodation is 6 miles away. Bus X4 goes to Pandy every 2 hours except Sundays. Alternatively taxis are available at the station. Onsite they’ve have taken a number of green measures to reduce the environmental impact of their tourism business and contribute positively to their surroundings, and as a result have earned Silver from the GTBS.
