Why is this a greener holiday?
To truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: the nearest train station is Chichester. From the station turn right at the traffic lights straight over, roundabout left A27 towards Brighton roundabout right towards Selsey. Roundabout left onto B2166 signpost Pagham. At the next roundabout (pub on left Walnut Tree) walk straight over, past farm shops on left and right, the road then has an s'bend then the B2166 turns left. Turn left with the B2166 (Pub opposite turning Royal Oak). Proceed one mile and the property is on the right hand side.
Onsite the owners have taken a number of green measures to reduce the environmental impact of their tourism business and have won several awards for their initiatives including Gold from the GTBS. They were the first hospitality business to install grey water recycling. The menu changes daily to use the very best local produce and the owners provide guides on the best in restaurants, walks and local heritage.
