Ash Lodge and Sycamore Lodge are situated on a family run farm, 4 miles from the small market town of Rhayader. The lodges offer luxury accommodation for relaxation or activity based holidays and have been finalists in the National Tourism Awards in Wales for self catering Best Place to Stay.
The lodges have easy walking access, underfloor heating and electricity included in price. Linen, duvets and towels included. Private hot tub and garden furniture on decking within a fenced garden area. Pets are welcome (up to 2 well behaved dogs max). Access to farmland walks. Free wifi internet access.
Accommodation comprises of three bedrooms - two doubles with patio doors onto decking and a twin bedroom. Open plan living area with wooden floors, large glass frontage and patio doors. Home comforts with leather sofas, LCD flat screen TV (Sky Freeview), DVD, radio/CD player, books/games and an electric wood burner effect stove.
The kitchen is modern and well appointed with appliances, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, electric fan oven and grill, ceramic hob and microwave. The bathroom has a shower over bath, vanity unit, WC, heated towel rail, mirror light and shaver point. There is a separate second WC/cloakroom.
A welcoming entrance lobby has space for coats and shoes. The lodges are no smoking environments. Enjoy the various outdoor activities on offer including fishing, golfing, cycling, pony riding, walking, bird watching and nature reserves.

To truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: the nearest train station is Llandrindod Wells. From there, the Lodges are 8 miles away, the owners are happy to collect guest by prior arrangement. Onsite the owners have taken a number of green measures to reduce the environmental impact of their tourism business and contribute positively to their surroundings, earning Silver from the GTBS.

The train station and bus station is 8 miles from the Lodges in Llandrindod Wells and guests can be collected by prior arrangement. A local taxi can also be booked to bring you straight to your accommodation.
The nearby town of Rhayader lies on the crossroads of the main A470 trunk road (running from north to south Wales) and the A44 (running from the Midlands to Aberystwyth). The Lôn Lodges are situated on a country lane off the A44 between Crossgates and Rhayader.
