Details of Kasbah du Toubkal

The Kasbah du Toubkal is at the foot of Jbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. Otherwise known as a Berber Hospitality Centre for both individuals and groups, you can pop in for lunch on the rooftop terrace or stay for a week...

This extraordinary venture is the product of an imaginative Berber and European partnership and suitable for anyone looking for a comfortable mountain refuge after trekking the mountains or for those who just wish to enjoy first class service in a first class setting.

Reviewed by Richard Hammond

"On the drive up through the Imlil Valley into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, you have an unerring sense that you’re going somewhere special...  The rooms have been furnished by Berber craftsmen using local materials and range from basic communal salons (often used by school groups) to comfortable private double rooms and one lavish, three-bedroom apartment."
