Just perfect – plenty of nature and rusticity, along with wraparound comfort: a proper bed, ensuite shower, electric kettle and toaster and a flushing loo. Watch the wood burner crackle while snuggled under the bright, quilted throw; fire up the wood pit and do a bit of stargazing with a bottle of your hosts’ real ale to hand. The super family do wood fired pizza evenings once a month and Tori – a renowned bread and pasta maker – offers cooking lessons for £30 per person. You’ll get to eat your creations during your stay. Go for a tour of the brewery, too, and a meal at its cafe.
