To truly minimise the environmental impact, guests are encouraged to arrive by public transport: from the UK, Sardinia can be easily reached without flying.... hop on the train to Lille, then connect onwards to Marsaille gazing at passing French countryside, before enjoying a wonderful overnight crossing over to Sardinia (Porto Torres). Once docked on Porto Torres, hop on the train from Sassari (nearby Porto Torres) to Olbia (approx 2 hrs). From Olbia station, follow the main road to Sassari, and then take the first exit on the main road on the right to Palau. After 3 or 4 exits on this road, take the one for Tempio. From Tempio take the State Road N° 133 Tempio-Palau for 12,5 km. On the left there is a Sardinian Flag + the sign of the agriturismo "La Cerra". Turn in to the farm track to the agriturismo and drive about 1 km.
Onsite your farmstay is low impact. There is a vegetable biological kitchen-garden and honey is produced onsite. The cattle are kept free in the open. Detergents and soaps are biodegradable & ecological

Directions from station:
